The Christian home is the place where children receive the first proclamation of the faith. For this reason the family home is rightly called “the domestic church,” a community of grace and prayer, a school of human virtues and of Christian charity.

We acknowledge that families can be our greatest witness to Gospel values as they pray together, forgive one another, serve each other, offer hospitality to others, and bring justice and mercy to the community.

It is our goal in the parish to support all families, knowing the challenges, responsibilities, and heartaches they face each and every day. It is our hope to provide family faith enrichment opportunities that will:

·      Strengthen the community bond in the home

·      Foster opportunities for family prayer

·      Enhance family customs and rituals during the Sacred Seasons

·      Increase understanding of our Catholic teachings and mission to the world.
